3 Generations

**This has been sitting in my drafts folder since April...no joke.  I'm a horrible blogger.  I haven't done any really serious drawings lately, but I'm grateful that I have this one to share because it's an actual drawing- so you all can pretend like I just drew it.  I have several more drawings saved on my computer at home that I need to upload and blog, but time...it's a weird thing.  I don't have much of it to spare these days...but when I do, I prefer sleep- or drinking wine and then sleeping...I think that's called lazy.  I have projects in the works- and it's almost Christmas time, so you know, I'm knee deep in piles of horribly planned out "I'm making your Christmas gift, again, this year" gifts (that I started last weekend...told you- horribly planned).  I'll take pics and upload those...hopefully before spring- you know, since I'm so awesome I'm a full 7 months behind schedule on this post. **

"Three Generation"
Completed with 2B and 4B pencils on 8 1/2" x 11" paper.
I love drawing images like this.  The similarities and family traits that are passed from one generation to another that may be over looked by some, I get to see up close.  Whether it's similar hair texture, or the way there might be a slight squint in their eyes, or they all have the same mouth, it's fun to see it in the young and the old and the in-between.
